As sunlight dances through the lush tapestry of Highgrove gardens, it casts radiant bursts between the flora and fauna - a fleeting reminder that all life is tethered to the sun. It was this harmonious interplay of light and nature that captured Emily’s imagination.

Seeking to replicate the warmth and wonder, she turned to the earth itself, proving that the elegant and the natural need not be strangers on the runway.

Crafted from hand-plaited wheat braid, each strand of straw is meticulously painted and woven to create a luminous ‘glow’ effect, as if the sunlight were caught within the outward spiral of the piece. The piece is contrasted with a deep black, a homage to the shadows that give light its drama and harking back to the poem that gave its name to the collection.
